I was in Sri Lanka in December/January. First, I spent a week at Villa Ammerlanka. It was a very nice, clean, and comfortable room with a private bathroom (which always had hot water, something that's not always a given in Sri Lanka). After that, we traveled around the country and stayed in many other hotels, but none of them even came close. annähernd an das Ammerlanka heran. Die letzte Woche unseres Urlaubes,hatten wir uns dann entschieden,wieder ins Ammerlanka zu fahren, da es einfach eine Wohlfühloase ist. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen und hat bei fragen stets geholfen und wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Zuletzt will ich aber auch noch erwähnen,dass es sehr nah am Strand liegt, welcher wunderschön ist. Es war ein Wunderschöner Urlaub. Danke Villa Ammerlanka.

Fantastic hotel! We had large, clean rooms with lovely balconies. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was also excellent, just 200 meters to the beach. Highly recommended!
